Following SSU investigation, FSB agent who adjusted missile strikes on Odesa sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, another FSB agent, who operated in Odesa oblast, has been convicted to prison.
The perpetrator adjusted russian missile and drone attacks on Odesa’s civilian infrastructure.
To direct enemy fire, the agent recorded geolocations of potential targets and sent them to his russian handler via a messenger app.
After the strikes, he came to the sites that have been hit to establish the consequences and report to the FSB.
Simultaneously, the individual was trying to identify locations of air defence missile systems protecting Odesa.
The SSU detained the traitor in March 2023 on an attempt to pass intelligence to the aggressor.
According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice is a local resident, an ideological supporter of ruscism.
During the search of the suspect’s apartment, the SSU seized computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of the crime.
