Following SSU investigation, another enemy agent, who adjusted ruscist missile strikes on Dnipro, sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, another member of a network of russian military intelligence (‘the GRU’) has been convicted to imprisonment. The perpetrator adjusted russian missile strikes on Dnipro.

The SSU Counterintelligence dismantled the enemy cell in January 2023. As a result of a multi-stage special operation, 8 agents were detained in Dnipro.

Following the SSU’s investigation, the court has sentenced one of these members to 15 years in prison for passing the coordinates of local energy generating enterprises to the aggressor.

The convicted man is a 47-year-old employee of a local thermal power plant.

After the occupiers’ air attacks, the traitor would arrive at the sites of hits, record their consequences and adjust repeated attacks.

He also spied on combat positions of air defense units protecting the city.

The asset passed the intelligence to the GRU through the head of the network – a former resident of Dnipro who left for russia in 2014 and cooperated with the russian intelligence service.

Based on the evidence collected, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of Dnipropetrovsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
