Following SSU investigation, another enemy agent sentenced to 15 years in prison for adjusting russian missile strikes on Donetsk region
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another FSB agent, who adjusted russian missile strikes on Donetsk region, has been convicted to prison.
The investigation established that the traitor guided russian weapons at fortified areas, logistics centers and firing positions of the Defense Forces on Kramatorsk direction.
To enable the russians to strike evading Ukrainian air defenses, the agent’s specific task was to identify and transmit the coordinates of radar stations and anti-aircraft missile systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He also provided russia’s federal security service with information on routes of armoured vehicles of the Defense Forces towards the front line.
The SSU uncovered the enemy collaborator’s intelligence activities and detained him in October 2024 during counter-sabotage measures in the frontline areas.
Based on evidence gathered by the SSU, the court found the perpetrator guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU – high treason, committed under martial law.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The convicted man is a 43-year-old unemployed resident of the village of Mirne, Kramatorsk district, recruited by the russian special service in the autumn of 2024.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
