Following SSU investigation, traitor who adjusted russian strikes while working as ambulance paramedic sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another agent of russia’s federal security service, who coordinated russian missile and drone strikes on Odesa region, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The perpetrator is a 40-year-old former paramedic at a local emergency medical station, who was recruited remotely by the occupiers in April 2024.

At that time, he was working in an ambulance. The FSB became aware of him through his anti-Ukrainian comments on Telegram channels.

After recruitment, the asset collected coordinates for air strikes on one of the region’s port cities. Among the enemy’s main targets were the personnel bases and ships of the State Border Guard Service’s maritime security forces.

To conceal his crimes, the traitor spied on the likely locations of the Defense Forces during his work trips in response to emergency calls.

The SSU identified the agent at an early stage, documented his intelligence activities and detained him in the summer of 2024.

The investigation also established that he had attempted to identify combat positions of Ukrainian air defense forces, which the enemy hoped to evade during air strikes.

A phone with evidence of his work for the enemy was seized from the traitor during the search.

The panel of judges found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Odesa region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
