Following SSU investigation, traitor who adjusted russian aerial bomb strikes on AFU positions near Kramatorsk sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, another FSB agent who spied in Donetsk oblast has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the investigation, he identified firing positions of Ukraine’s rocket artillery. The occupiers used this intelligence to prepare strikes with guided aerial bombs.

The perpetrator was part of an agent network of russia’s federal security service that adjusted enemy fire in Kramatorsk sector.

The SSU dismantled the enemy cell in two stages: one agent group was uncovered in December 2022, the second – in April 2023. Seven enemy accomplices were detained.

One of them has now been sentenced to prison. The convicted man is a 50-year-old mechanic at a local factory who was recruited by the FSB. To get the man to cooperate, the ruscists used his brother, who had moved to russia.

After recruitment, the agent surveyed the area, recorded on camera and marked the coordinates of personnel and heavy weapons concentrations.

He sent the collected data via messenger to his brother, who worked directly with the FSB handler.

Based on the investigation of the Security Service, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

Earlier, SSU investigators had notified his brother, hiding in russia, of suspicion of high treason.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Vinnytsia Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
