Following SSU investigation, another member of FSB spy ring in Dnipropetrovsk region sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another member of an FSB spy network has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and confiscation of property. The perpetrator was part of a network of spotters that the SSU dismantled in August 2024 in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The convicted woman is a resident of Dniprovskyi district who was recruited by russia’s federal security service and who guided russian missiles at Ukrainian Defence Forces.
The enemy accomplice travelled around the area to identify and report to the FSB the locations of concentrations of Ukrainian troops near the regional centre.
She also tried to elicit from acquaintances the addresses of logistics centres where weapons are stored and military equipment is repaired.
The perpetrator acted independently of other members of the agent group but reported to the same handler in russia.
The SSU detained the traitor at her home. A smartphone, which she used to communicate with the aggressor state, was seized during the search.
The communication was conducted via an anonymous chat on a messaging app.
The woman was spotted by the FSB when she posted pro-kremlin comments on Telegram.
The court found the accused guilty under Articles 28.2 and 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed by a group, upon prior conspiracy, under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
