Following SSU’s investigation, FSB informant who guided russian S-300 missiles at Kramatorsk sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, another informant of russia’s FSB has been convicted to prison for adjusting enemy strikes on Donetsk region.

Using his information, the occupiers fired S-300 missiles at residential buildings in Kramatorsk on 14 March 2023.

As a result of the attack, 10 civilians were injured, one of whom died.

The traitor also collected intelligence on the temporary bases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units engaged in combat near Avdiivka and Bakhmut.

The SSU detained the enemy informant ‘red-handed’ in May 2023, when he was conducting reconnaissance near a military installation in the frontline area.

Following the SSU’s investigation, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

The convict is a 25-year-old resident of Kramatorsk. Last spring, the FSB recruited him remotely to help in the war against Ukraine.

Further communication between him and his handler took place via a messenger app.

In an anonymous chat, the asset provided photos of Ukrainian ‘targets’ with their detailed descriptions and electronic coordinates.

Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor state in conducting warfare against the AFU).

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
