Following SSU’s investigation, court sentences traitor, who guided russian missiles at humanitarian aid distribution points, to 15 years in prison
The SSU has gathered irrefutable evidence proving the guilt of another enemy accomplice who conducted reconnaissance and subversive activities against Ukraine.
The enemy informant, a woman, is an official of one of Kharkiv’s state-owned enterprises and was recruited by the russian intelligence at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
On the aggressor’s instructions, between February 25 and March 9, 2022, she collected intelligence on deployment and movement of Ukrainian Defence Forces in the region.
The informant also passed to invaders coordinates of crowded places, including humanitarian aid distribution points in Kharkiv.
The occupiers needed geolocation data of civilian targets to launch rocket and artillery attacks on the infrastructure.
In this way, the aggressor tried to intimidate citizens and spread panic among population.
After air attacks, the agent went to the area to record their ‘consequences’ and adjust repeated strikes.
The SSU detained the suspect in March last year while she was performing a reconnaissance mission.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court sentenced the traitor to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
According to the investigation, the woman communicated with the russian special service through ‘liaisons.’
These were two russian military servicemen. One of them was eliminated by Ukrainian defenders on the eastern front.
The other is a resident of temporarily occupied Donetsk, mobilized to russia’s occupation forces.
It was to them that the agent ‘sent’ photos of Ukrainian targets with georeferencing and her comments via the Telegram messenger.
During the searches, the SSU found the mobile phone, which she used to communicate with the enemy.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found the accused guilty of high treason committed under martial law (Article 111.2 of the CCU).
The SSU Kharkiv Office carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
