Following SSU investigation, another traitor sentenced to 15 years in prison for guiding russian attacks on Chernihiv

Based on the evidence collected by the Security Service, an FSB agent, exposed in late 2024 for adjusting enemy attacks on Chernihiv, has been sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property.

It was based on her coordinates that, in the autumn of 2024, the ruscists carried out a missile strike on one of the region’s military facilities.

The SSU detained the suspect before she could carry out her next mission – installing a hidden video camera with remote access for russia’s federal security service opposite the military facility.

Using the camouflaged video device, they hoped to adjust a combined missile and drone strike against the ‘target’.

As the investigation established, the aggressor’s task was carried out by a nurse from one of the city’s private medical clinics who had been recruited by the enemy. She came to their attention whilst seeking ‘easy money’ on Telegram channels.

In exchange for money, the traitor walked around the regional centre and its surroundings to photograph Defence Forces sites with geolocations using her mobile phone camera.

The SSU Military Counterintelligence uncovered the enemy’s plot at an early stage and documented the agent’s criminal activities. Simultaneously, action was taken to secure the bases of Ukrainian troops.

A smartphone, which she had used to photograph the sites and coordinate actions with her FSB handler, was seized during the search.

Based on evidence, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was conducted jointly with investigators from the SSU Office in Chernihiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
