Following SSU’s investigation, organizer of FSB’s interregional agent network ‘Professor’ sentenced to 15 years in prison
Following the SSU’s investigation, court sentenced to 15 years in prison the organizer of the FSB’s interregional agent network, who was found guilty of high treason.
The SSU obtained and submitted to court irrefutable evidence that the Odesa resident with the codename ‘Professor’ was working for the FSB.
In August this year, the SSU conducted a multi-stage special operation and detained ‘Professor’ red-handed – during reconnaissance around the Odesa Military Administration.
Within the criminal proceeding, the SSU investigators established that the man had at his own initiative ‘cooperated’ with the enemy from the start of russia’s full-scale invasion. He became the FSB’s resident and was looking for potential agents in other regions, ready to carry out assignments: collect information and adjust enemy fire.
It has been proven that acting in the interests of the russian special service, the agent organized collection of intelligence on location of decision-making centers, military and strategic facilities throughout Ukraine and in particular in Odesa.
On October 7, 2022, Prymorskyi Court of Odesa found the traitor guilty of the crime under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law) and convicted to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
