At SSU’s initiative, court seizes property of russian holding companies worth UAH 4.5 bln
Following an investigation by the SSU, court has seized property of russian influential financial and industrial groups worth a total of over UAH 4.5 bln (USD 126 mln). The seized property includes the assets of 9 Ukrainian enterprises owned by Rostech Corporation, RusAl aluminum company and Tatneft oil holding.
In addition to industrial capacities, 70 real estate facilities were seized, including property complexes and land plots of these businesses.
It was established that they secretly transferred their proceeds to russia to finance the war against Ukraine. To do this, they used an extensive network of affiliated offshore companies.
Currently, efforts are undertaken to confiscate the blocked assets in favor of our state.
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by SSU investigators under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office and with the operational support of the SSU Main Directorate for Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure and Countering Terrorism Financing and the National Police of Ukraine.
