Following SSU’s investigation, assets of russian businessman in Chernihiv region worth UAH 1 bln transferred to state
Following the SSU’s investigation, assets of a Chernihiv textile company linked to a russian business have been handed over to the National Agency for Detecting, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
The decision pertains to all the company’s real estate and corporate rights to it.
The total value of the property seized for the benefit of the state is over UAH 1 bln (USD 25 mln).
According to the investigation, the ultimate beneficiary of the company is a russian businessman working for the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state.
The entrepreneur owns a group of russian companies that fulfil orders for production of military clothing and equipment for russian occupation groupings.
The investigation is ongoing. Criminal proceeding was opened under the Article 110-2.3 of the CCU (financing of actions committed with the purpose of forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine).
The SSU Chernihiv Office is conducting the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
