Following SSU’s investigation, CEO of russia’s largest missile corporation suspected of helping to wage aggressive war

The SSU has collected evidence against Boris Obnosov, CEO of the russian Tactical missiles corporation, who facilitates armed aggression against Ukraine.

The official is a member of putin’s inner circle and heads russia’s largest sanctioned holding company producing cruise missiles and guided aerial bombs.

Industrial quantities of these weapons are regularly supplied to russian troops for the war against Ukraine.

Since the full-scale invasion, the enemy has launched over 140 strikes against civilian infrastructure and energy facilities in Ukraine using Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles alone.

For massive strikes on Ukraine, the ruscists also use other ‘products’ of Obnosov’s corporation, including P-800 Oniks, Kh-22, Kh-32 and Kh-59 cruise and anti-ship missiles, as well as KAB-500 and KAB-1500 guided aerial bombs.

The investigation identified that a few months before 24 February 2022, the CEO had been awarded a hero of russia title for his direct participation in the preparation for the full-scale invasion.

Based on the evidence, the SSU notified Obnosov of suspicion under Articles 27.5, 437.2 of the CCU (aiding the conduct of aggressive war).

Efforts are underway to bring the criminal to justice and put him on the international wanted list.

In addition, investigative actions are ongoing to identify, freeze and recover all foreign assets of the suspect for Ukraine’s benefit.

The investigation is carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
