In March 2022, this ex-people’s deputy was in the temporarily occupied territory of Kyiv region with the russian troops.

He was one of the mouthpieces of russian propaganda and regularly recorded videos in which he denied russian aggression and broadcast narratives about the ‘liberators’. Subsequently, these videos were published by pro-kremlin media, including the federal TV channel of the russian Ministry of Defence.

In May 2022, this person took part in russia’s information campaign, where he once again spoke in support of its aggression and the temporary occupation administrations in southern regions of Ukraine.

Currently, under the procedural supervision of Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office and basing on the files submitted by the SSU and the National Police, the ex-MP has been notified of suspicion of collaborative activities (Article 111-1.6 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
