This became possible immediately after the experts concluded a comprehensive forensic psychological and linguistic examination, which analyzed the array of evidence gathered by the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the experts’ conclusion, the statements and activities of this political consultant were detrimental to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

In particular, as a result of searches, the SSU seized items and documents confirming his ties with russia. Among them are analytical materials on ‘denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.’

Currently, the investigators are verifying if this and other material was used in planning russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

It has been established that the suspect had links to russian special services, who operated in Ukraine under diplomatic cover.

He often participated in propaganda programs on russian TV and led a group of political strategists and experts who systematically:

• prepared analytical notes on social and political situation in Ukraine;
• prepared proposals how to strengthen russia’s influence on society.

The political strategist has been notified of suspicion, in absentia, of a crime under Article 111.1 of the CCU (treason).

The investigation is underway.

The operation to expose the suspect was carried out by the SSU and the National Police investigators under the procedural supervision of Podolsk District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv.
