Following SSU investigations, enemy agents who adjusted russian strikes on Mykolaiv sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, another two enemy agents who adjusted strikes on Mykolaiv oblast have been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The investigation established that they guided russian missiles to logistics centers and backup command posts of Ukrainian troops.

The perpetrators are two local residents who acted separately and were recruited by the occupiers on Telegram channels offering ‘easy money’.

One of the convicted individuals is a 44-year-old security guard at a private company in Snihurivka, who tracked the locations and routes of Ukrainian units moving toward the front line.

He passed on the coordinates he collected to a chatbot operated by Sergei Lebedev (known under the nickname Lokhmatyi), who is hiding in Donetsk and works for russia’s FSB and GRU.

Another traitor is a 47-year-old unemployed man from Mykolaiv who spied on the locations of the city’s defenders.

He sent intelligence to his FSB handler via a messenger app in the form of photos of potential targets with location tags.

The SSU detained one of the agents in June 2023 and the other in December 2024.

Phones containing evidence of their collaboration with the aggressor state were seized during searches.

Based on the evidence collected by SSU investigators, the court found both accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigations were carried out by the SSU Office in Mykolaiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
