Following SSU’s investigations, enemy informants sentenced for adjusting strikes on Kharkiv and Sloviansk power substations
Based on the SSU’s evidence, another two traitors have received prison sentences for adjusting enemy strikes on Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts.
Using the data provided by these informants, russian occupiers carried out missile and artillery strikes on the infrastructure of the frontline regions.
In particular, they targeted local social institutions and energy grid, including power substations.
The SSU detained both enemy accomplices as a result of counter-sabotage operations in the eastern regions.
Given their cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced one of them to 10 years in prison and the other – to 8 years in prison.
One of the convicts passed intelligence to the aggressor on geolocation and technical condition of Kharkiv’s energy generating enterprises.
The intelligence was sent to a ‘liaison’ – an official of the ‘DNR people’s militia’ in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.
Another perpetrator provided the FSB with coordinates of operating energy infrastructure facilities in Sloviansk.
He also collected data on temporary bases and movements of the Defence Forces in the city.
Both men came to the aggressor’s attention because of their pro-kremlin activities on banned social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
During the searches, mobile phones with evidence of communication with the FSB were seized from them. Among other things, a draft application was found, where the informant he asked to be enrolled to the russian occupation troops.
Based on the evidence, the court found both accused guilty under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU, committed under martial law).
The investigations were conducted by the SSU Offices in Cherkasy, Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
