Following SSU’s investigation, ‘chief of staff’ of former Mykolaiv oblast occupation administration sentenced to prison
Based on the SSU’s evidence, another ‘official’ of former russian occupation administration in Mykolaiv region has been brought to justice.
The SSU apprehended the collaborator in November 2022 during stabilization activities in the liberated settlements.
The detained woman was a resident of Snihurivka, who at the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion supported the occupiers and voluntarily cooperated with them.
For this, she was appointed ‘chief of staff’ in the local occupation administration.
In this ‘position’, the ‘official’ launched a broad campaign to recruit residents to the occupying authority, promising ‘candidates’ support from ruscists and a ‘high salary’ in rubles.
The ‘chief of staff’ also introduced ‘document flow’ standards in accordance with the requirements of russian laws.
In this way, she tried to spread the kremlin’s regime in the then-occupied territory.
After Ukraine liberated this area, the collaborator ‘laid low’ and hoped to evade justice.
However, the SSU found and detained her in Snihurivka.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found the accused guilty of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU) and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The SSU Mykolaiv Office carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
