Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, a member of an FSB intelligence network, detained in October 2024 in Donetsk oblast, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The investigation revealed that the perpetrator directed the enemy’s combined strikes on Kramatorsk and surrounding settlements.
Among the main targets she helped attack were reserve command posts, ammunition depots, and artillery firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This time, the aggressor’s tasks were carried out by a 54-year-old local librarian, who was recruited through her acquaintance in russia.
To obtain the intelligence, the woman walked around the frontline area and recorded the locations of Ukrainian troops on her phone camera.
She sent the collected data via messenger to her FSB handler, whose identity has been established by the SSU Counterintelligence.
The SSU apprehended the perpetrator at her home. A smartphone with evidence of her work for russia was seized from the suspect.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
