Following SSU’s investigation, traitor who guided russian missiles at defence enterprises in Kirovohrad region sentenced to life imprisonment
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, the court has convicted another FSB’s informant for passing locations of military and critical infrastructure in Kirovohrad region to the enemy.
Using the woman’s coordinates, the occupiers repeatedly launched missile attacks on the oblast. The main targets were Ukroboronprom enterprises and the oil refining industry.
In March this year, the SSU detained the enemy asset ‘red-handed’ when she was photographing a local plant.
Following the SSU’s investigation, the court sentenced her to life imprisonment.
The convicted spy is a resident of Oleksandriya district, recruited remotely by the FSB after the full-scale invasion.
To collect intelligence, the agent drove in the region and covertly recorded locations of Ukrainian facilities, georeferencing them.
She sent the data in the form of text messages via a messenger app to her ‘contact’. The latter was an acquaintance of hers, a militant of the russian occupation troops fighting on the eastern front.
He then ‘reported’ to his handler in the FSB.
During the searches, the SSU seized a mobile phone used by the suspect to communicate with the invaders.
The court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
The SSU emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for crimes against Ukraine.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kirovohrad region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
