Mykolaiv city: SBU blocks large-scale misappropriation of diesel fuel in Ukrzaliznytsia
In the city of Mykolaiv, the SBU detained officials of Ukrzaliznytsia. Every month, the offenders drained 100-150 tons of diesel fuel from locomotives for further sale. The damages to Ukrzaliznytsia JSC amounted to USD 50,000 per month. The lack of fuel could have led to disruptions of rail transportation.
