SSU identifies over 1,500 individuals whom enemy plans to involve in organizing sham referendum in Zaporizhzhia oblast (video)
The SSU has intercepted the invaders’ documents, regulating the organization of russia’s fake referendum in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region.
Due to the obtained files, the SSU established the identities of over 1,000 russian security forces personnel, whom the aggressor state will engage in maintaining security during the pseudo-voting. Among them are units of the national guard of russia, military police and the ministry of emergencies.
They will be assisted by traitors and collaborators of the ‘MIA main directorate in Zaporozhye oblast’ set up by the occupiers.
To control the conduct of the voters at the illegal plebiscite, kremlin organizers plan to involve an extensive network of private security firms controlled by russian special services.
The SSU also obtained a full list of enemy accomplices who voluntarily agreed to head the so-called ‘territorial electoral commissions.’ So far, over 390 collaborators have been identified.
The SSU has established all the organizers of the unlawful activity and their locations.
Criminal proceeding was opened under:
- Article 28.2, Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration),
- Article 110.2 of the CCU (trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
The investigation is underway to bring the involved to justice.
The SSU warns: punishment for crimes against Ukraine’s state security is inevitable.
The SSU Department for National Statehood Protection exposed and documented the crime together with investigators of the SSU Office in Zaporizhzhia Region under the procedural supervision of Zaporizhzhia Region Prosecutor’s Office.
