SSU and National Police detain FSB agent adjusting russian attacks on energy facilities in Vinnytsia region

The SSU Counterintelligence and the National Police have detained an FSB agent who adjusted russian attacks on the energy infrastructure in Vinnytsia region.

According to the investigation, the traitor is a 46-year-old unemployed woman who had come to the enemy's attention while seeking ‘easy money’ in Telegram channels.

The suspect was tasked primarily with gathering intelligence on several regional power facilities, that supply electricity and heat to most of the area.

The agent photographed potential targets and sent the images and coordinates to her FSB handler.

SSU officers detained the suspect ‘red-handed’ while conducting surveillance of critical power facility.

It has been established that after a massive enemy attack, the agent was tasked with arriving to Haisynkyi district to record the resulting damage from the strikes.

SSU investigators have notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The enemy accomplice is in custody without the right to bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Vinnytsia region under the procedural supervision of regional Prosecutor’s Office.
