The SSU has detained another six pro-russian Internet agitators who were operating in several regions of Ukraine.

The perpetrators justified russia’s armed aggression, glorified the occupiers and called for seizure of the entire Ukraine.

In Cherkasy region:

a member of Chyhyryn Town Council was apprehended for public justifications of russia’s war crimes.

He disseminated anti-Ukrainian publications in his circle, picking up the destructive content from pro-kremlin media outlets and adding his own contributions.

The suspect was in direct contact with the former Ukrainian parliamentarian and traitor from the banned party of regions, Volodymyr Oliynyk, who is hiding abroad.

In communication with him, the official shared disinformation to discredit Ukrainian defenders and provided data on sentiments and opinions of the population in Cherkasy oblast.

The town council member was planning his escape to russia and a personal meeting with Oliynyk.

Another resident of Cherkasy oblast was detained for spreading calls for an armed seizure of state power in Ukraine.

To spread enemy propaganda, he created several Telegram and Facebook communities and administered a YouTube channel.

In his publications, the agitator also justified the crimes of russian invaders in Bucha.

In Kyiv:

The SSU detained a Kyiv blogger who was trying to whitewash the subversive activities of ex-MP and traitor Medvedchuk and collaborator Stremousov.

To do this, the woman used her pages on Telegram, TikTok, and Instagram with a total audience of over 100,000 subscribers.

The blogger also conducted paid ‘online seminars’ on how to evade mobilization in Ukraine.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

Another two pro-russian agitators were exposed, one of them – a former law enforcement officer who glorified the militants of russian occupation troops.

The second suspect is a resident of Novomoskovsk. On his personal social media page, he spread fake news about Ukrainian Defence Forces fighting on the frontline.

In Donetsk region:

A resident of the frontline area was detained for calling for the bombing of Kyiv and glorifying the militants of the russian unit Akhmat.

SSU investigators have notified the detainees of suspicion under the Articles of the CCU:

• 114-1 .1(obstruction of lawful activities of the AFU);
• 436-2.2, 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

Operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk regions under the procedural supervision of regional prosecutor’s offices.
