SSU collects evidence of high treason committed by Diana Panchenko, former TV presenter at Medvedchuk’s channel
The SSU has documented new crimes of the pro-kremlin propagandist Diana Panchenko, who is aiding russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
After working for Viktor Medvedchuk’s sanctioned TV channels, she moved to the temporarily occupied Donetsk to continue her information activities for the benefit of the aggressor.
The investigation established that from October 2022 to the present, Panchenko, on instructions from moscow, has been assisting russia’s military and political leadership in subversive activities against Ukraine.
She systematically justifies russia’s armed aggression, supports and promotes the occupation of parts of Ukraine, as well as manipulatively covers the military and political situation in our country and calls on Ukrainians not to resist the occupiers.
Panchenko systematically posts videos of such content on her YouTube channel with almost 1 million subscribers.
She also disseminates propaganda ‘stories’ and ‘publications’ through a network of pro-kremlin Telegram channels.
Given the new facts of the propagandist’s criminal activity, SSU investigators notified her of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
Panchenko is hiding from prosecution; efforts are underway to bring her to justice.
In January 2023, the SSU declared her suspect under Article 436-2.3 of the CCU (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
