SSU finds evidence that russia kills Ukrainians with missiles from North Korea (video)

The SSU has documented the facts of russian air attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure using long-range weapons from North Korea.

These are Hwasong-11 (KN-23/24) ballistic missiles manufactured in the DPRK.

According to the investigation, russian troops have fired more than 20 North Korean munitions into Ukraine.

At least 24 civilians were killed and over a hundred civilians were seriously wounded as a result of enemy strikes with these missiles.

One of the first instances of the aggressor’s use of DPRK ballistic missiles was recorded on 30 December 2023 during the attack on Zaporizhzhia.

The occupiers’ next attack with North Korean weapons was carried out on an apartment building in Kyiv in early January this year.

Then, four residents were killed and more than 50 others are in serious condition.

In Donetsk oblast, the ruscists hit residential buildings in five frontline villages with the same missiles, killing 17 civilians.

The invaders also launched North Korean missiles at private homes in Kharkiv, killing three civilians and seriously injuring another 60 people.

All these facts are now being documented by the SSU’s investigators within the criminal proceeding under two Articles of the CCU:

  • 111-2 (aiding the aggressor state);
  • 438 (violation of laws and customs of war).

Efforts are underway to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the involved to justice.

Investigators are also establishing the logistic routes used to supply weapons from the DPRK to russia.

The investigation is carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
