SSU and Defence Forces strike Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery and the Starolikeevo oil pumping station in russia’s rear

On the orders of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as part of a 40-day operation to exert pressure on russia, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, carried out a successful strike on the Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery and the Starolikeevo Linear Production and Dispatch Station in Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod oblast of russia. The distance to the target was 850 kilometres.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Cyber Security Department of the Security Service has neutralised more than 16,000 cyberattacks and cyber incidents carried out by russia. Some of these were directed against Ukrainian media outlets.

SSU strikes hangars housing fighter jets at Saky military airfield in Crimea

As part of a 40-day operation to exert pressure on russia, the Security Service carried out a successful strike on the Saky military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, in accordance with the orders of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The operation targeted the airfield’s infrastructure, specifically hangars with fighter jets.

SSU detains foreign national – FSB agent guiding russian strikes on Kherson

In Kherson, the Security Service of Ukraine has detained a deep undercover agent of russia’s federal security service. He turned out to be a native of the South Caucasus recruited by the enemy. The man had been living in Ukraine since the 1990s on a forged passport and, as a cover, headed a local civil society organisation.

The SSU Counterintelligence has exposed large-scale attempts by the russian intelligence services to recruit Ukrainians under a false flag.
