The SSU dismantled a large-scale scheme of faking international COVID-19 vaccination certificates in the border area of Ukraine. To counterfeit thousands of certificates monthly, the offenders set up a clandestine printing house in Zakarpattia region. They also forged PCR test results.

Following the SSU CI investigation, two militants of IAFs of the so-called L/DNR were sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison. They had been fighting against Ukraine for four years.
Anti-corruption
The SSU has exposed illegal activity at one of the state-owned enterprises of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. According to preliminary estimates, the fraudsters caused losses to the state of over UAH 22 mln (USD 800,000).
