In the city of Kyiv, SBU cyber specialists blocked the activities of an organized group that extorted almost USD 5 m. from Ukrainians. The offenders misappropriated investors' funds, imitating participation in exchange trading and cryptocurrency transactions.
Officers of the SBU Special Operations Center "A" took first and second places in the Open Championship in practical shooting with a carbine, dedicated to the day of the Ukrainian special service. Following the results of competitions, NABU team took the third place.

In Kharkiv region, SBU Counterintelligence officers found a cache of weapons, including Russian-made RSHG-1 assault grenades, during investigative actions against a previously detained militant of the LNR terrorist organization.
The offenders caused damage to the state budget amounting to UAH 230 m (USD 8,2 m). They set up a real estate scheme.
The SBU exposed and blocked illegal activity of the so-called private military company. The IAF was involved in commission of serious crimes. It also took part in crimes against foundations of national security.
