In Kyiv, the SSU has prevented an illegal sale of special equipment for audio and video surveillance. Representatives of a company tried to circumvent the law and sell such devices to private individuals, although their license allows them to sell exclusively to government agencies.
The SSU has disrupted the activity of a group that carried out unauthorized interference in the Unified State Register of Vehicles, which enabled them to issue and sell fake driver’s licenses and vehicle registration certificates. According to preliminary information, the offenders managed to ‘serve’ several hundred clients.
The SSU, under procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office, has completed a pre-trial investigation on suspicion of Semen Semenchenko and his accomplices. The indictment was sent to Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv.
