The SSU Counterintelligence has dismantled an extensive agent network of russia’s federal security service operating in four regions of Ukraine. As a result of the operation, the Service detained nine agents who were preparing terrorist attacks and sabotage on russia’s orders. Among them are five minors aged 14-15.

In Kyiv, the SSU cyber units have detained another agent of russia’s federal security service. He is a 47-year-old russian citizen, who worked as a sound engineer at a well-known radio station in Ukraine and simultaneously performed tasks for the russian special service.

As a result of a special operation, two female agents of russia’s military intelligence (‘the GRU’) have been apprehended. They were preparing to blow up judges and volunteers in the cities near the front line.

The Security Service of Ukraine is neutralizing enemy sabotage activities at early stages and exposing russian agent networks. The Service is successfully counteracting to the russian plan called Sabotage Noise, which was personally approved by putin at the end of 2023. This enemy plan involves sabotage and terrorist attacks throughout Ukraine. This was stated by the Head of the SSU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk, during an interview with We Are Ukraine (My – Ukraina) TV channel during the Unified News telethon.

The Security Service of Ukraine has prevented new attempts by russia’s FSB to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in Kyiv. According to the investigation, the enemy planned contract killings of well-known Ukrainians, explosions in shopping and entertainment centres and at a metro station in the Ukrainian capital.
