Investigative and operational teams of the SSU are working in over 20 settlements of the region, where Russians committed war crimes. They are collecting evidence and establishing the entire chain of those involved: both Russian invaders and Ukrainian collaborators.
Another exchange of prisoners has taken place: 144 Ukrainian defenders returned home. This is the largest exchange since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion. Out of them, 95 are Azovstal defenders, including 43 servicemen of the Azov Regiment.
The SSU continues intensive counter-subversive measures in the front-line areas of southern Ukraine. As a result of a special operation in Zaporizhzhia, the SSU detained an arms dealer who tried to illegally sell explosives.
Such a decision was made by Chernihiv Desnyanskyi District Court. The senior sergeant of the russian armed forces Mykhail Kulikov was found guilty of the crime under Article 438.1 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war) and was sentenced to 10.5 years in prison.
The SSU continues to fight against organized crime that threatens Ukraine’s state security amidst the ongoing war.
The SSU Special Operations Centre ‘A’ has received 830 kamikaze drones to fight occupiers at the frontline.
The SSU has collected evidence against another two russian officials involved in mass killings of civilians during the battle for Kyiv.
The SSU and the National Police have prevented selling of weapons and ammunition to criminals in Ukraine’s three regions.
The SSU has completed its investigation and submitted an indictment to the court against the member of a village council in Zakarpattia region who committed a terrorist attack in the government building. The official faces life imprisonment.

The SSU Counterintelligence has detained another enemy informant in Donetsk oblast. He tried to help russia break through Ukrainian defences on Pokrovsk direction, currently one of the hottest spots of the frontline.
