The SSU successfully struck the infrastructure of the ‘Lukoil-Permneftorgsintez’ oil refinery, located more than 1,500 km from Ukraine. The SSU National Academy held its first graduation ceremony for young officers who completed their education under the standard NATO training cycle and are beginning their professional careers after four years of study. The SSU and the National Police have detained the perpetrators of both terrorist attacks that took place in Odesa on July 28 of this year. As a result of comprehensive measures taken over the 24-hour period, three russian agents were detained, they had planted improvised bombs under the cars of a Ukrainian soldier and a civilian.

Based on evidence gathered by the SSU counterintelligence and investigators, a russian agent who was caught red-handed by the SSU in June 2025 while preparing a series of terrorist attacks in Kharkiv was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The SSU has detained another individual who was coordinating russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. He turned out to be a fsb agent who was preparing a new series of missile and drone strikes on thermal power plants and electrical substations that supply the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
