The SBU jointly with the State Bureau of Investigation under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office exposed damage to the state budget by the State Customs Service (SCS) officials.

SBU operatives established that the official, who is also a deputy of Chernihiv Regional Council, demanded USD 10,000 from a local resident. For this, he promised to issue an order to develop a detailed plan of the territory and to approve changes of the intended purpose of land plots (6 hectares) in Chernihiv region.

The SBU military CI officers prevented corrupt appointment to a leading position in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
