In Zakarpattia region, the SBU CI blocked the channel of illegal transportation of Russian citizens to the EU, Great Britain and the United States.
The SBU documented an illegal scheme of embezzlement in JSC Ukrzaliznytsia. The offenders conducted fictitious repair work on diesel generators. The condition of such equipment is important for traffic safety at critical infrastructure.
The SBU blocked activities of organized groups selling drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors in Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions. It was also established that the criminals were spreading their criminal influence in the public life of the region.

The SBU CI exposed officials of a state enterprise on organizing illegal export of military technology in the field of repair of combat aircraft equipment.
The SBU continues to clean up its own ranks. The operatives of the SBU Main Department of Internal Security exposed an officer of the SBU Central Office on participating in an organized group.
The officers of the SBU Main Investigation Department conducted searches in the administrative buildings of the authorities involved in the preparation and ratification of the so-called “Kharkiv agreements”. The investigation was conducted in order to establish and document all the circumstances.
In Luhansk and Zakarpattia regions, the SBU blocked two channels of illegal migration to Ukraine. Among the foreigners were people from countries with a high terrorist threat.
During 2020-2021, according to the SBU, various law enforcement bodies opened 184 criminal proceedings for environmental crimes. The Head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov reported about it at the meeting in Prosecutor General’s Office.
