The SBU Military CI uncovered an organized group of drug dealers. The contract soldier of military unit in Kharkiv garrison engaged in drug trafficking. He used a specialized Telegram channel to look for the clients.
The SBU neutralized an organized criminal group engaged in the manufacture and sale of psychotropic substances. Every month, drug dealers sold amphetamines worth up to UAH 5 m. (USD 185,200).
The SBU exposed a large-scale scheme of smuggling of branded clothing and cosmetics from Ukraine to the EU. The scam was organized by an individual involved in the sanction list of the National Security and Defense Council and his associates. The offenders planned to smuggle goods worth UAH 16 m in a batch.
The SBU disrupted an interregional drug group selling cocaine. During a special operation in the city of Rivne, a leader of the group was detained while trying to sell a batch of drugs. The offender resisted law enforcement officers and tried to escape from the scene.
The SBU blocked a large-scale scheme of illegal mining and sale of mineral resources in Kharkiv region. The perpetrators managed to sell over 15,000 tons of clay.
Pursuant to the SBU investigation, a member of the ship’s crew of a foreign vessel was announced suspicion of marine pollution. The harmful effects to the Ukrainian ecology, resulting from the pollution of the internal sea waters, are estimated at almost UAH 65.2 m. (USD 2.4 m.).
In Vinnytsia region, the SBU shut down an organized group engaged in illegal sale of firearms and ammunition. Allegedly, the group members were selling the weapons to regional criminals.

The SBU cyber specialists disrupted the activities of an interregional conversion center in Zhytomyr region. During 2020-2021, the perpetrators managed to divert almost UAH 200 m. (USD 7.4 m.) into non-observed economy sector. The information on financing of the DNR terrorist organization is being checked.
