SBU returns to Ministry of Infrastructure State Register of Sailors previously seized by raiders (video)

The SBU cyber specialists have completed the transfer of the State Register of Seafarers' Documents to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. They returned it from the control of third parties who used it for corruption schemes. Two offenders have already been reported as suspects.

In July 2021, specialists of the SBU Cyber Security Situation Center responded and neutralized 65 cyberattacks on information systems of public authorities. SSU officers analyzed more than 31,000 security incidents.

SBU exposes Russian malefactors who laundered money in Kyiv

The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed a large-scale scheme of laundering money, received from illegal activities in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Perpetrators provided resort services to militants from separatist-held territories and Russian military, receiving millions in revenue each month.

The SBU has exposed another corruption scheme in JSC Ukrzaliznytsia. The head of the regional branch received kickbacks from businessmen. He guaranteed winning in public tenders for the supply of components to rolling stocks.

The SBU exposed an organized group on selling explosives and ammunition. The offenders extracted explosives out of air bombs and artillery shells of World War II. The law enforcement officers seized almost 15 kg of explosives.
