In Lviv region, the SSU exposed a head of the local office of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection on corruption. The official extorted a 10% kickback from businessmen.
Following the SSU investigation, a citizen of Ukraine was sentenced to 7 years in prison for an attempted arson of a temple in Zaporizhzhia in 2019. The criminal activity was coordinated by ‘special services’ of the so-called DNR with the aim to destabilize the situation in the region.
The SSU exposed a group of criminals who issued and sold fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates. According to preliminary data, the fraudsters have issued over 1,000 fakes.
