Within the initiated criminal proceedings, SBU operatives and investigators established that the defendants carried out customs clearance, significantly underestimating the vehicles’ cost. According to preliminary estimates, the illegal activities of customs officers caused losses to the state of almost UAH 103 million (USD 3.7 million).
