SBU blocks hard drugs smuggling and detains drug dealer

Allegedly, a resident of temporarily occupied Donetsk set up the drug trafficking. The offender bought drugs from dealers of Zaporizzhia region and smuggled it in his own car through the contact line. Due to lockdown restrictions, the dealer developed a new route via Russia and expanded a customer base there. According to intelligence, the profit of such drug trafficking amounted to UAH 2.5 million (USD 88,300) per month.

SBU blocks several pro-Russian propagandist networks

During September 2020, the SBU ​​Department of CI Protection of the State’s Interests in the Sphere of Information Security blocked the activities of several regional propagandist networks, who tried to undermine the situation in Ukraine in the run-up of the local elections. The attackers posted information on the social media with appeals to overthrow the constitutional order and violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
