The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police exposed a lawyer in Kyiv for taking bribes. The investigation revealed that the lawyer had demanded US$30,000 from a person involved in a property dispute that was being heard in one of the capital’s courts.

SSU Counterintelligence and investigators have documented two new instances of russia’s use of ammunition containing depleted uranium elements against Ukraine. The hazardous components were detected in ‘Geran-2’ strike UAVs, which the ruscists used to attack Sumy region twice in April 2026.

SSU detains russian accomplice who helped ruscists ‘reconfigure’ seized plant during occupation of Kherson

In Kherson, the SSU Counterintelligence has detained another enemy accomplice who was hiding from justice. The suspect is an employee of a local plant who, after the enterprise was seized at the beginning of the full-scale war, helped the ruscists restore its operations for the benefit of the russian federation.

Joint Center under SSU organizes rehabilitation in Italy for Ukrainian children affected by russian aggression

Forty Ukrainian children affected by the war have departed for a two-week rehabilitation program in Italy. The trip took place as part of the Joint Center's humanitarian project Kids at Home UA, which is implemented as part of the President's initiative, Bring Kids Back UA.

SSU counterintelligence officers and investigators have detained the head of a defense enterprise and his deputy in charge of production, who allowed ammunition to be stored in warehouses near residential buildings in the city of Vyshneve, Kyiv region.

SSU detains FSB and GRU ‘double’ agent targeting Sloviansk

In the Donetsk region, the SSU Counterintelligence has detained an agent who simultaneously worked for the FSB and russian military intelligence agency (better known as GRU). The agent turned out to be an engineer at a local heating utility recruited by the enemy, who was adjusting the ruscists’ missile, bomb and drone attacks on Sloviansk.

SSU detains former deputy mayor of occupied Alchevsk in Kyiv

The SSU has detained in Kyiv the former deputy head of the occupation administration in Alchevsk, the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region. After her moving to the capital, the suspect hoped to ‘go unnoticed’ in the city by working at a social services centre.

Following SSU investigation, lyceum security guard sentenced to 15 years in prison for guiding russian strikes on Kharkiv

Based on evidence collected by the SSU Counterintelligence and investigators, a russian agent has been sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property. She was detained by the SSU in June 2024 whilst adjusting missile and bomb strikes on Kharkiv.

SSU destroys a Tu-95 strategic bomber at Engels military airfield

The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a successful special operation, destroying a Tu-95 strategic bomber at the Engels military airfield in russia’s Saratov Oblast. Long-range SSU drones covered approximately 800 kilometres to reach the target.
