SBU blocks illegal cryptocurrency mine powered by stolen electricity

SBU cyber specialists exposed cryptocurrency "miners" who connected their equipment to electrical substations in Dnipropetrovsk region. Not only they stole electricity, but also posed a threat to the region's critical infrastructure.

In Luhansk region, the SBU found three caches with weapons arranged by terrorists in the Shchastynskyi district (3-5 km from the contact line).

SBU CI exposes legalization of “DNR” militants in Ukraine

The SBU CI officers exposed a large-scale scheme of forgery of documents for residents of separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk (ORDLO) and the AR of Crimea. Using false personal details, the suspects facilitated official legalization of persons through Ukrainian authorities in government-controlled territory. Among the "clients" of the group were members of the "DNR" IAFs.

In Odesa region, the SBU CI exposed and stopped human trafficking, illegal import of weapons and excisable goods.

Kharkiv city: SBU exposes municipal official and state registrar on multimillion misappropriations

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed an official of one of the Kharkiv City Council municipal enterprises and a state registrar on illegal real estate transactions. The illegal actions caused budget losses amounting to UAU 2 m. (USD 74,000).

SBU Military CI exposes MOD enterprise officials on embezzlement

The SBU military counterintelligence exposed an illegal scheme organized by officials of one of the enterprises of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The suspects claimed that they were fighting against corruption in subordinate enterprises, but in fact, they caused state losses amounting to UAH 5 m. (USD 185,000)

Odesa city: SBU blocks activity of conversion center

In the city of Odesa, the SBU exposed a conversion center that illegally refunded VAT and minimized taxes.

Attempt to bribe SBU officer exposed

Operatives of the SBU Main Department of Internal Security detained an individual who tried to bribe an SBU officer. The offender proposed the SBU officer money for shielding the underground casino.

Zaporizzhia region: SBU disrupts creation of fake "city council"

In Zaporizzhia region, the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the National Police of Ukraine blocked an attempt to create a fake "Huliaipole City Council", initiated by a local supporter of the pseudo-democracy.

“Foreigner attempting to plant drugs on SBU employee, suspected of murder,” deputy chief of Internal Security Volodymyr Rymarchuk

“A foreign drug dealer, who attempted to plant psychotropic drugs on an SBU officer earlier this year, is suspected of committing willful murder even earlier,” stated Volodymyr Rymarchuk, the Deputy Chief of the SBU Main Directorate of Internal Security at a briefing in the city of Zaporizzhia.

SBU shuts down call centers providing commercial services to Russian companies

The SBU cyber specialists blocked the activity of call center network in the cities of Kropyvnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih. The organizers provided remote services to commercial entities incorporated at the aggressor country and the temporarily occupied AR of Crimea, including the sanctioned company Yandex.
