In Kyiv, the SBU exposed a large-scale forgery scheme of vaccination certificates and PCR test results. Since the beginning of the year, the perpetrators have issued more than 10,000 forged documents and earned about UAH 5 m (USD 186 400).

The SBU exposed the Head of a Department of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office of the Donetsk region on bribery. The official extorted money from a local farmer for closing criminal proceedings for illegal land acquisition.

FSB agent is sentenced to eight years in prison

Berdychiv City Court of Zhytomyr region sentenced a FSB agent to 8 years in prison. He was detained by the SBU CI in April 2021.

The SBU established whereabouts and detained Russian crime lord, a.k.a. Roma Popenok. The criminal tried to spread the influence of Russian crime in Ukraine.

SBU blocks embezzlement of public funds (video)

The SBU cyber specialists prevented the large-scale embezzlement of public funds on the government’s Laptop for every teacher program and exposed the perpetrators on trying to organize the scheme of kickbacks at the purchase of about 60,000 laptops. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the SBU, Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ministry of Education, it was possible to prevent losses of the state budget by UAH 300 m (USD 11 m).

SBU CI uncovers former militant of so-called DNR

The SBU CI exposed and detained a citizen of Ukraine, an active participant in the illegal armed formation. He is the resident of the city of Kurakhove, Donetsk region, who was the part of the so-called DNR due to ideological convictions in 2014-2015.
